Assist in maintaining the accounting records and financial information of the firm
Assist in generating internal and external financial reports such as monthly and quarterly reviews
Assisting in the preparation of the year end audited financial statements and information requests
General ledger maintenance including accruals, adjusting entries, account reconciliations, etc.
Maintain proper controls in accordance with procedures for accounting and reporting
Prepare, log and review bank account credits and debits
Report sales taxes by calculating requirements on paid invoices
Assist with month end close
Assist with schedules and analyses for annual firm and pension audits
Perform special projects as needed and provide support to the accounting team
Excellent written and verbal communication

Ability to meet frequent deadlines
Ability to adapt with changing assignments and priorities
Ability to work well under pressure
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field required
3-5 years’ experience in accounting, professional services environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with Excel features, such as pivot tables and VLOOKUP functionality, is a plus
Familiarity with accounting software; Microsoft Dynamics Navision experience is a plus, but not required
