Responsibilities: • Performing, leading, and facilitating audit engagements • Working on several jobs at a time • Directing resources to meet the engagement budgets and client’s expectations • Evaluating clients' internal controls • Providing advice to client management, recommending improvements to their internal controls, accounting procedures and business counsel • Reviewing all workpapers, reports and financial statement drafts to ensure they are prepared in accordance with firm and professional standards • Answering complex questions involving GAAP and GAAS • Strengthening existing client relationships by communicating with them throughout the year and advising on all concerns and relevant industry pronouncements
Qualifications: • Minimum of 2 years of experience working in external audit in public accounting • Proficiency in accounting systems and audit software • Able to demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills as well as being a role model to other managers and staff • Advanced GAAP and GAAS knowledge • CPA certification required • Passion for developing your professional skills and those around you through continuous education opportunities and readings • Ability to manage multiple engagements in a fast-paced environment • Ability to perform effectively in a team environment with all levels of client personnel • Excellent written and verbal communications
