The Senior Staff Accountant will be responsible researching, documenting and providing guidance on the current accounting issues in accordance with GAAP. This role will report directly to the VP, Controller in a growing Accounting department.
Keeping abreast of the latest accounting guidance/literature.
Documenting the company’s position on technical accounting areas such as revenue recognition and software development costs.
Working with auditors to support accounting positions taken by the company.
Preparing policy and procedures.
Training management and departments on the latest accounting guidance and policies.
Reviewing customer and vendor contracts, identifying technical accounting issues and providing guidance.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or comparable degree.
Active CPA license
3-5 years of experience in Accounting.
Proficiency with MS Windows and MS Office software, especially Excel.
Demonstrated proficiency in the handling of large data elements is preferred.
Expereince with conducting accounting research and guidance.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Excellent analytical skills – including the ability to present results.

Additional Salary Information: $70,000.00 -$80,000.00 annual base salary plus 10% annual incentive bonus.
