Wealth Management Regional Vice Presidents are the primary managers of each regional office and the financial advisors within that office. The position has the responsibility of opening a new office and recruiting, training, and managing financial advisors in that office to ensure consistent and compliant delivery of exceptional client service. The Watts Capital model is built around creating individual offices with 10 or more team members, including financial advisors and support staff.
Watts Capital is expanding rapidly and will evaluate the opening of offices in new locations on a case-by-case basis. High priority locations include: Los Angeles, Washington DC metro area, Raleigh/Durham, Atlanta, Texas, and South Florida.
Duties and Responsibilities
Work collaboratively with Watts Capital management to establish and maintain an office in a metro market offering substantial business potential.
Recruit, onboard, and train financial advisors with existing books of business.
Develop and oversee the implementation of business plans for each financial advisor.
Manage and train the financial advisors and other staff to deliver consistently and compliantly world-class client service in the areas of 1) comprehensive financial planning; 2) investment counsel; and 3) advance planning.
Lead marketing and relationship development for Watts Capital within the Regional Vice President’s metro market.
Your Skills and Experience
Experience as an sales manager, regional manager, or complex manager for a recognized wealth management firm.
Experience in recruiting, leading, and managing a successful team of financial advisors.
A history of building relationships centered on trust, open communications and transparency.
A commitment to excellent client service.
An existing personal book of business of $15 million or more ($150,000+ GDC).
Series 65 or 66 FINRA licenses and insurance licenses.
CFP® designation (preferred).
