Description

A newly launched multi-strat hedge fund is looking to bring on a new Fund Accounting Manager to their team in NYC. Led by a group of seasoned professionals in the multi-strat space with the backing of established financial services firms, they are seeking a top-performing Fund Accountant to join their team to build, restructure, and optimize the fund accounting function at the firm.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the monthly and quarterly NAV (Net Asset Value) process with fund administrators.
- Lead the buildout of an automated accounting ledger, reconciliation system, etc.
- Support the onboarding of new functions and products
- Oversee financial reporting, the GL, etc.
- Support the trade operations function through reconciliations, trade monitoring, etc.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- CPA required
- 5+ years of experience in fund accounting
- Experience with hedge funds, multi-strat, pass-through structures
