Chesterfield County is currently seeking a Fiscal Manager. Under general direction, performs work of considerable difficulty in planning, organizing, and managing accounting, cash management, refund processing, banking, financial systems, document retention and reporting activities and services for the Treasurer's Office. Perform other work as required. Successful candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business or public administration, or a related field; five years of increasingly responsible experience in a diverse, professional accounting environment to include internal control, systems, and reporting responsibilities, including three years of supervisory experience and two years of cash management experience; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred. Customer service experience. Pre-employment drug testing, FBI criminal background check and education/degree verification required.
