Bridgewater College is seeking candidates for the full-time position of Financial Analyst. Reporting to the Director of Finance and Budget, this position will perform a wide variety of research, statistical and analytical tasks
RESPONSIBILITIES: Include but no limited to extracting, defining and analyzing relevant data; interpreting data for the purpose of understanding past financial performance and/or projecting financial outcomes.
Collect, analyze, project and summarize data for financial planning and reporting purposes.
Design and recommend detailed financial and analytical models.
Design financial models to forecast trends, outline concerns, and highlight opportunities. Create executive summaries and professional quality visual presentations.
Prepare a wide variety of financial and statistical reports, including year-end reporting and management analysis.
Provide highly complex staff assistance to the Finance Department; prepare and present staff reports and other necessary correspondence.
Perform, direct, or report on special studies, projects and assignments.
In coordination with the Office of Strategic Analysis and Reporting, complete annual financial surveys using analytical data (IPEDS, NACUBO, SACUBO, etc.).
Provide financial analysis for new programs under consideration.
Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field required, CPA and 3-5 years’ work experience in financial analysis preferred.
Demonstrated proficient knowledge in the use of spreadsheet and data retrieval software required. Strong analytical skills and proven ability to develop creative approaches to complex financial issues and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal required. Ability to manage multiple competing priorities with deadlines.
